The funeral of Darren White, of United Lift Trucks and TC Maintenance, will take place at 11.45am on Monday 30th January at Colchester Cemetery and Crematorium, Mersea Road, Colchester, Essex CO2 8RU.

As the funeral is expected to attract a large number of people, Darren's family has requested that the seats inside the chapel be allocated to family, friends, close colleagues and those who have travelled a long distance to attend. The service will be relayed to those mourners not able to be seated inside the chapel.
A reception will be held after the funeral at the Ramada Colchester Hotel (also known as the Butterfly Hotel), A12/A120 Ardleigh Junction, Colchester, Essex, C07 7QY. If you wish to stay overnight at the Butterfly Hotel, a preferential rate has been agreed. Upon booking, please mention you are with the Darren White funeral party to obtain this special rate.

The funeral director is John J. Smith and Son Ltd of Colchester (Tel: 01206 574669). Darren's family has requested that flowers at the funeral are from family and close colleagues only. Otherwise, donations may be made in his name to St Helena Hospice, which cared for Darren's mother through her illness.
