Free walks to be held around Colchester

A SERIES of free walks of increasing difficulty will be held in Colchester in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The first monthly walk, a two mile stroll around Cudmore Grove Country Park in East Mersea, starts at 10am on Sunday, February 5.
They culminate on June 3 with a 10 mile hike around the north Essex countryside, starting at Little Horkesley.
Each of the five walks, organised by Colchester Council, is linked to an Olympic ring colour and everyone who takes part receives a free souvenir pin badge in that colour.
