Yachtsman rescued after getting lost at sea

A MAN was rescued after getting lost out at sea for more than 20 hours.
The yachtsman had set off from West Mersea, in his 22ft yacht Tao, and was on his way to Southend.
However, after losing his bearings, he had to call the coastguard.
The Southend RNLI Atlantic lifeboat and coastguard began the search, just before midnight on Saturday, before finding him lost and exhausted.
He was towed to Island Yacht Club on Canvey Island.
