Fire crews called to caravan blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a caravan on fire at a holiday park in West Mersea.
Crews from West Mersea and Colchester were called to Waldegraves Holiday Park at 12.40pm on Saturday.
A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said the caravan was well alight when crews arrived.
They wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 1.25pm.
