Kite surfer rescued

A LIFEBOAT crew had to rescue a kite surfer in trouble near East Mersea.
Mersea coastguard and the West Mersea RNLI lifeboat were sent out, just before 3pm on Saturday, October 29.
The kite surfer and the kite were recovered and taken back to shore.
