TIPTREE Road Runner Paul Mingay continued his great summer form, taking first place in the Mersea Five with a run of 29 minutes 35 seconds.
Simon Morgan ran 34m 46s, followed by Mark Brewer (35m 27s), Matt Davey (36m 5s) and Rob Hadgraft (38m 6s).
Roger Duffield finished in 45m 34s, while Tina Clarke, Carolyn Bownes, Dawn Shilling and Amy Smith finished in 57m 18s.
In the ten-mile event, James Haskey-Jones led the Tiptree finishers with a time of 65m 47s.
Jamie Fairfull was just outside his personal best in 73m 9s, followed by Phill Clarke (73m 48s), Ted Skinner (74m 18s) and Graeme Moon (78m 16s).
Stuart Meddeman, in 78m 30s, and Marcus Morley, in 78m 59s, made their club debut at ten miles, while Peter Bouldstridge’s run of 79m 5s was a personal best by one and a half minutes. Jim Slater ran 79m 13s, with Paul Fuller making his ten-mile debut in 84m 6s.
John McVelia, Lynn Baines and Tracey Edmonston finished together in 1h 44m 36s.
