A MAN was rescued from a boat in West Mersea after he was suffering from diabetes.
The West Mersea lifeboat was called out at 1.30am on Sunday to boat Real Life after the man collapsed.
The 62-year-old man was transferred to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
