Delay on decision for homes on site of historical Colchester home

A DECISION on a scheme to build nine houses on the site of a home once leased by a famous author has been put off.
Councillors want the Highways Authority to take another look at planning for traffic calming measures at the site of Tubswick in Mile End before a decision is reached. It had been earmarked for approval.
Owners Mersea Homes want permission to put up nine new homes on the site of the house where Daniel Defoe lived for a time.
