We're a modern
cafe (not greasy spoon) serving
English and Continental dishes,
all homemade. Anything from a
bacon sandwich and a latte to a
three course lunch with such
dishes as 'blue cheese and
rocket risotto' or 'smoked
haddock on creamy mash with a
wholegrain mustard sauce'. Our
beakfast menu, 9-11am includes a
hearty 'fry-up with bubble and
squeak' and 'smoked salmon and
scrambled eggs on toasted
ciabatta'. In the afternoon we
have all manner of homemade
cakes and cream teas. All this
served surrounded by paintings,
ceramics, prints etc. by leading
local artists.
