Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the
month at the British Legion Hall, Barfield Road, West Mersea at
7.30pm where we invite speakers to come along and speak on many
different subjects. At our last meeting we were pleased to
welcome Brian Curtois, BBC Correspondent and this month's
meeting (July) we will be entertained by a lady singing songs
from The Carpenters. The meetings are free to visitors but we
would appreciate a donation of £2.50 which go towards running costs. The Strood WI also have various clubs involving Walking,
Cinema, Members' Gardens, Luncheons and our monthly Monday Club
where a smaller group meet to discuss various topics |
